…………..In standing up better for animals, that is!
This morning I had an opportunity present itself wherein I heard my guidance ‘screaming at me’. “Don’t do this one more time! How many more times are you going to do what is PC, which in fact, is not going to be advocating for the animals?” At the risk of losing clients and possibly future clients (you know that people talk and believe negativity about another even though they have not had a personal experience with the one being talked about), I was letting things slide when it came to animal clients.
Here’s what I mean. I saw a FB post the other day about a friend’s daughter who was in a car accident. I called the next day to check on her daughter’s wellbeing and my friend said that the family dog was in the car too and was thrown against the back of the front seat during impact. I Told her (I didn’t ask) that I would be coming to adjust the dog because of the trauma that is known and unknown to her. With so few nerves registering pain to our brains ( can you imagine if many nerves registered pain to the brain? Your clothes would be hurting you), there are so many potential degenerative processes going on in the dog and we don’t even know what they are yet.
This morning’s experience was that the dog owner texed me to say that today was inconvenient for her to have me come adjust the dog. She wanted to sleep in!
My head was screaming, “Seriously, you already made the dog wait 5 days because you wanted the adjustment to wait until Saturday !”
Needless to say, I’m pretty sure she could feel the intensity of my words and position on being adamant that the dog ‘will be seen today’. She agreed that I was correct.
The dog had a small cut on top of the head but he was walking, eating, drinking, pottying so they thought all was well.
Inferior Occiput, mid neck subluxation on the Left, low neck subluxation on the Right. 2 subluxations in mid-back region, 1 subluxation on the Lumbars, Sacrum was subluxated on Right. The owners had no idea. Granted not all of the subluxated areas may have been from the car accident. Irrelevent! The long and short of it is that all this needed to be addressed to prevent further limitations of health and mobility.
By examining and chiropractically adjusting the dog, we address any interference that may be going on with the dog. Untreated, it would be likely that in the future (who knows how long), the dog could experience some physical or internal conditions that could have been linked to the reduced nerve flow and/or mechanical limitations, and the owner might not think to link it back to this car accident.
So today I decided that I don’t mind if I am thought of as being arrogant by those who don’t want to receive the truth of the nervous system and functional detriments to their animals. I will speak of facts and experience and continue to outwardly advocate for the animals.
Where have I been remiss? In speaking the truth and educating better about the compassion, love, and increased consciousness we need to have in taking care of this part of creation.
